We are dog-friendly! Dogs are welcome on our tours and in the visitor centre, but please keep them on a short lead at all times.
Yes, our vineyard tours start in our visitors centre with a small presentation on the history of Velfrey Vineyard, then into the vineyard to see the vines and it finishes with a wine tasting.
Yes - we advise those visiting to bring suitable footwear and a coat! We’ll always try to adapt our tour to the day and we’d only cancel for extreme weather conditions.
Yes you can! On our website we have an online store where you can buy our wines and a variety of vouchers. You can see these by selecting the ‘shop’ option in the menu on our website. On a desktop it appears a the top of the page, if you're viewing on a mobile you will need to select it from the drop down menu that is on the top right hand corner of the page.
For tours and wine tastings, yes you need book in advance, which you can do through our website.
If you would just like to visit our shop, there is no need to book. Check our website for our opening hours.
If you have to cancel your booking, please get in touch with us via email - info@velfrey.com. Our cancellation policy is below.
For bookings involving food, we require a minimum of 72 hours' notice. We reserve the right to charge a fee of 5% of the value of the booking + VAT i.e. 6% overall to cover the cost of the booking and transaction processing fees which we have to pay and are not refundable. Alternatively we can offer a voucher for the cancelled experience to be booked in future, or to the full monetary value of the experience.
